These wild sardines are small, oily and packed with flavour, serve simply with lemon and good bread.
Caroline sources these little bullets of omega 3 from David who fishes on his 10m Serene Dawn and hails from one of Cornwall's oldest fishing families. David works with ring nets which are smaller and gentler than purse seines, fishing mid-water with virtually no by-catch and no impact on the seabed. The net stays high in the water, minimizing its impact on the ecosystem.
Frozen items may arrive with you partially or entirely defrosted. Do not refreeze.
