Collection: Dougie & Maeve, Danehill

Having grown up working on and around biodynamic farms – including fellow Wylde producers Matt and Dan, Dougie went on to train as an actor.  But the pull of nature was too strong. Now based in a strikingly beautiful part of West Sussex, he and partner Maeve farm chicken, beef and lamb regeneratively. Indeed, it was the need to regenerate pasture for the ruminants that led the couple to introduce the chickens to the farm in the first place. Their Hubbard birds join them at a day old and spend 12 weeks happily foraging and fertilising the soil before being dispatched by Dougie and team just 10 minutes away.
