Richard, Coombe Lynher
Richard’s family has farmed in the Lynher Valley in East Cornwall for generations. For most of the twentieth century, the farm was a thriving horticultural business, growing eucalyptus & heather for the major flower markets. As wholesale markets fell out of favour from the 60s onwards, made worse by the rise of cheaper imports, Richard put the farm into organic conversion. He hasn't looked back since. The farm now produces around 30 different organic crops on 25 hectares of land, from legumes and leeks to cabbages, kale and much, much more.
