One way or another, the vampires will leave you alone. 

The first time I ever had sopa de ajo - Spanish garlic soup - was in Madrid.

It had been made not by a Madrileño but by an Australian, hence the friendly - and quintessentially Australian - warning about its effects.

But my God, I loved it.*

Nourishing, tasty, hearty.

It's perfect for these cooler, darker months.
