Andy began fishing at 14 on his dad’s charter boat. In the early 2000's he turned in the day job to fish full time. He nets for fish during the winter months and pots for crabs and lobsters in the summer. While he’s done plenty of hook and line fishing, with the help of his son, Lewis, he now enjoys netting with a gill net for its selectivity - if they land smaller fish still flapping, they make sure they are returned safely to the water.
