If we were playing Family Fortunes and I asked you to ‘name something delicious that you can eat at any time of the night or day’, I very much doubt that you would say - ‘turkey sausages’.
And even if you did, the chances of it then coming up on the board (because we’d previously also have asked 100 people, obvs) would, I think, be vanishingly small.
For lots of us, turkey sausages historically have been the sad, slippery little beige things that sit sweating in stainless steel chafing dishes in low grade Middle Eastern buffets. Give me the houmous or the ful over those, every time.
But….they ain’t what I’m talking about.
John’s turkey sausages are night and day compared to those things. They're hearty, organic, seriously meaty and deeply satisfying. This might be because they’ve been made with a little organic pork too, but regardless - my now massive teenage sons and I just love them for breakfast, lunch or dinner. And they go really, really well with Keir’s fermented sauces, Habibi.
Do try them. Because - and I really mean this - if you're not a fan:
I'll give you the money (back) meself.
