For the last few years in my house, we’ve done Thanksgiving.
And we LOVE it.
We’re not Americans, so perhaps I should explain.
For me, Thanksgiving is….
1. PERFECTLY TIMED
The nights are drawing in, but it’s still a little while until the Christmas hols. Thanksgiving is the perfect punctuation point, and a great excuse for a get together over a table.
2. LIBERATING
Because it’s not something that we in the UK have historically done, Thanksgiving doesn't have to follow a script or be as emotionally loaded as other festivities. Make up your own ‘traditions’ and find what feels good!
3. SERIOUSLY USEFUL
It’s a great way to see friends and family that – for all sorts of reasons – you might not get to see at Christmas.
Best of all, it means you get another opportunity to eat John’s amazing slow grown, organic turkeys!
Order yours here.
They’ll be delivered - in boxes, along with cooking instructions - on 22 November.

P.S. – Amber and Chris’ organic red wines go beautifully with John’s turkey. (Yes, I’ve done those hard, hard yards for you. You’re welcome 🍷)
